College student used Snapchat's gender
switch filter to help catch a predator cop

A male college student, named Ethan, used Snapchat gender switch filter to help the San Jose Police Department catch a predator cop, named Robert Davies, who was trying to hook up with teenage girls on the dating app Tinder.

Just to be clear, Robert Davies doesn’t work for the San Jose Police Department. He works, well at the moment he works, for the San Mateo Police Department.

The good folks over at the San Jose Police Department picked up the alleged child predator because he was allegedly committing his crime of trying to solicit sex from girls who are too young to legally own a house.

San Mateo Police Chief Susan Manheimer heard about all of that and decided to take Davies off his beat and send him home on paid administrative leave.

Before y’all go hating on the police chief for letting the alleged predator continue to collect a paycheck, just know that this is the due process the police department must go through before they fire him.

And evidence of the fact that Davies is gone is San Mateo Police Chief Susan Manheimer’s statement which reads as follows: “As San Mateo police officers, we have sworn an oath to serve and protect our communities. I can assure you that we remain steadfast to this commitment to serving our community with ‘Professionalism, Integrity, and Excellence.’”

Davies, of course, will more than likely say that evidence of his innocence is his leadership award that the San Mateo Police Department awarded him.

“Would a man who’s been given an award for his leadership make such an error in judgement,” is what Davies will more than likely fix his lips to tell the good your honor.

Davies will then more than likely go on to say that his little nasty chats with Ethan, who posed as a 16-year-old girl named Esther,

was just him, Davies, doing diligent police work to catch a predator he identified on Tinder. Ain’t nobody buying that bull, though. Those chats were the XXX type of stuff that belongs on a “nasty” forum. At least, that’s how “explicit” Ethan said the chats are.

Come to think of it, Ethan told folks that Davies said he wasn’t “bothered” that he was dirty sexting a 16-year-old girl who he, Davies, spent half a day sexting on the Tinder. Ethan even sent a copy of the chats to the folks over at Crime Stoppers.

Those timestamps and screengrabs will help to catch a predator every time.
